NINI WORKS TO ELIMINATE ANIMAL IVORY IN JEWELRY, FINE ARTS AND LUXURY BRANDS
NiNi is a campaign to fight elephant poaching and to promote Nuvory as a natural, sustainable, compassionate alternative to animal ivory.
An initiative of Dutch jewelry designer Couleurs de Géraldine, NiNi has four main parts:
Support conservation and community groups fighting to protect elephants and their habitats
Engage opinion leaders to advocate eliminating the ivory trade
Work to better inform consumers worldwide about the bloody truth behind the ivory trade
Promote use of Nuvory – a natural material which is a perfect substitute for animal ivory
STOP THE IVORY TRADE
NiNi aims to help curb demand for animal ivory by educating consumers and by promoting a natural, sustainable alternative. And by supporting anti-poaching activities, interdiction and market regulation, NiNi joins in local and international efforts to reduce the supply of animal ivory.
By pledging part of profits to conservation and community groups, Couleurs de Géraldine supports those working on the front lines of elephant protection. By featuring Nuvory as a perfect substitute, CdG helps reduce demand for animal ivory. By educating about and advocating against the murderous ivory business, NiNi strives to sensitize, engage and influence the luxury market about the true costs of using animal ivory. And by sponsoring NiNi, CdG makes it possible for everyone to do their little bit to bring an end to the ivory trade.
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL IVORY IN THE WORLD COMES FROM A TREE.
A key feature of NiNi is to promote the use of Nuvory - the nut of the South American Elephant Palm – as a totally natural, compassionate, sustainable alternative to animal ivory. Nuvory can help elephants, help save rain forests, provide support for traditional artisans and local communities - and it also happens to be very beautiful.
NiNi is sponsored by Dutch jewelry brand Couleurs de Géraldine.
